Project Overview:
Stemming from a desire to share our personal sensibilities for music and fashion, Hear Me Out was a party organized in Des Moines, Iowa. Set in a vintage clothing shop (formerly a horse stable), we aimed to bring together friends and family for a night of dance and reconnection.

To extend the memorability of the event beyond a single night, we designed an identity in the form of posters and merch. With uniqueness being a core theme, we used thrifted garments as the base for our merch, meaning that people could have their own distinct Hear Me Out piece to wear over time

Identity DesignLooking to represent the diverse arrays of music genres we sought to mix through the night, the party identity brings together vibrant colors and topographical forms in a manner of organized chaos. The identity was extended to 30+ thrifted garments as the base for merch.

VHS Journal With the help of a trusted 20+ year-old camcorder, the entire night, as well as the moments leading up to making Hear Me Out possible, was documented.
